World Cup football is not only played on the grounds after every 4 years, it has the power to change lives. There is a diverse subculture has grown up around FIFA World Cup that is often unnoticed and un-celebrated. Fans, television, commercials, street arts, festivals, collectibles, celebration, lamentation, music, revolution, brawl – the list goes on where mankind has established this unorthodox and distinctive culture to celebrate the greatest show on the Earth. This is an independent 365 days project to document such instances of World Cup sub-culture that walks into our everyday lives across continents. We are reaching out to football crazy individuals of different nationalities, background and culture and the outcome is beautiful.

If you have any such memories or any positive impact of World Cup Football in your life please send a tweet to @GoaldenTimes with #WorldCupLove or send an email to editor@goaldentimes.org and your thoughts will be incorporated in the project.
