Goalden Times is a platform for romantics, nomads and new-age football admirers.  There are more than 50 volunteers who contribute to GT from places across the globe to showcase a unique football podium – and you can be just one of us. So if you think you can write elegant but eccentric articles on various cultural (or counter-cultural), contemporary or historical aspects of football world which are often unreported please reach out to us.

There are a number of ways to get involved. GT is always in a move to expand the team and embrace diversity. We don’t care about your experience, we just care about your creative prowess and love for the game. We work with multiple authors, editors, researchers, designers, photographers, travelers and even mathematicians to create elegant content for modern readers. If you think you have the vigor to contribute to an award-winning publication and join this movement of alternative, influencing and new-age football content, please get in touch with us.

Please note that GT is driven by collective passion of individuals and all these roles are completely on voluntary basis and only for those who are highly passionate to contribute to a creative environment. We don’t pay money, as we don’t make money, but we assure a niche and quality audience base across multiple continents will admire your writing.

Submission Guidelines

We appreciate original, detailed and well-researched articles for publication with preferred length of approximately ~2000-3000 words. However, word-limit is not a constraint if the write-up is well enough articulated. Once submitted, we have a peer-review and edit framework that every article needs to go through and requires your active participation during review phase. Based on our quality control guideline an article can be rejected or we may ask you to rewrite or partially rephrase the content. This is a learn-and-help model so that we can closely work with the authors. The whole process requires a 2-3 weeks of lead time before your article goes through all necessary editing and and then it becomes ready to be published.

Current Opportunities

Although we are always open to work with new contributors but we often look forward to certain skills to manage our on-going projects as immediate requirements. Please keep an eye on this space to hear the news of our latest opportunities.
